HORSEHEADS - Tommy Brown, Jr., 37, of Erin, died Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2014, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown following a valiant struggle with lymphoma.
He was born August 11, 1976, at St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, a son of Tommy Brown, Sr. and Rita (Greenwood) Brown Jacobs.
A licensed massage therapist, he had been employed at The Lodge at Woodloch in Hawley, PA and had recently opened his own practice in Endicott.
Tommy is survived by his beloved husband, Andrew Joseph Brown Robertshaw; his mother and step-father, Rita and Butch Jacobs; his father and step-mother, Tommy, Sr. and Maria Brown; his mother-in-law, Kelly Gable and father-in-law, Jack Robertshaw; his siblings Qiana Haley, James, Eric and Joshua Brown; step-brother, Chad and his wife Stephanie; step-sister, Kara; Kristen and Courtney Jacobs, and many nieces and nephews; and his grandmother Corrine Dais. He is further survived by aunts, uncles and cousins including, Cece and Ron Drew, Fred Greenwood, and James Hale.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, James Dais and step-brother Alex Gable.
A memorial and celebration of Tommy's life will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 126 Main Street, Johnson City.
