She was a 60-year member of the Otsego Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, serving as Regent and Chaplain. Jane Ann was also a 60-year member of Christ Church, Episcopal, serving as a member of the Altar Guild for many years. In 2008 she became a member of the Native Daughters of Cooperstown, something of which she was very proud.
