HARTWICK – Robert J. Roe, a lifelong resident of Hartwick, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 20, 2026, at Cooperstown Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing with family and his girlfriend, Tara Johnson by his side. He was 59.
Born December 2, 1966, in Cooperstown,
Robert was one of 11 children of Lester and Electa Roe of Hartwick.
Throughout his life, Robert loved horses
and horseback riding, fixing cars, and loved to make people smile and laugh. He
also loved being outside and going for walks.
Robert is survived by six sisters and two
brothers, and has five children and many grandkids, nieces and nephews, great
nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and a
sister, Lenora M. Woodbeck.
At this time there is no service for
Robert, but at a later date there will be a celebration of life.

Johnson for all that they did for Robert and for being at his side until the
end. He will be greatly missed.
